Today, I finished my 3rd LSR with my Team Tiara group. We have found our pace groups and I have to say that this is the best thing I could do for myself. Finding friends to run with makes all the difference in the world. Not only do you not stop (even if you want to!), the time goes by much faster. This morning, the rain began a little past the first mile and continued throughout the run. It was a great respite from the heat and humidity we've had. I missed my Monday run this week because my knee was still giving me fits. 2 visits to the chiropractor and it is already feeling better. Thanks, Dr. Rick Brannen!! Seems that my hip and knee are out of alignment and we are rectifying that situation. I'm ready to tackle the One Hundred Push Up Challenge again and get serious about my strength training. I must build a better Gerri between now and October 25. Oh yeah, my pace for this morning's run was 10:54. For a training run? That's close to my PR for a 10K. Yup - getting stronger and faster. Catch me if you can...
Well, okay, you probably can, but let me bask in it a little bit.

GREAT JOB!!!
OH YEAH I PR'D BIG TIME! It also was a U.S., World and Olympic record in the event. I keep checking Sports Illustrated's website and they must be busy because they haven't posted it yet. Have an awesome weekend.
