So I've Had a Slacker Week

Last week I had my highest mileage week in a long time. This week... well, not so much. I only got in one run and moved my long run to Sunday so that I can run with one of my Team Tiara buddies whose been out of town this week. But since I'll get in 10 miles tomorrow and 12 on Friday and one in between, I'll get that mileage back up.

This time next Saturday, I will be retaking the LSAT. I've tried a completely different study approach this time and am confident that it will pay off with a better score. Even a few points makes me more competitive in the application process.

So, yesterday I turned 40. God, 40! Really?? I don't feel 40. I had my breakdown on Thursday when my co-workers didn't acknowledge my birthday. While I know this sounds very selfish, in our department we always celebrate birthdays and everyone knew that I would be out on Friday, as would our director. It was a culmination of a lot of things, and I got over it quickly. I had a great birthday, though. I met my mom for breakfast and shopping time. Met Robin and Eric for a fantastic lunch and they helped me celebrate. Then on to a hair appointment and chiro. for an adjustment. Jeff got home (Yay!!!!!) and we had a nice dinner at Pizza House. Now we are settling in to watch what promises to be one of the best games of the season - Bama v. Georgia. During this time of year, he and I rarely have the opportunity to just kick back and spend the day in front of the tv watching football, so we plan to take full advantage of it today. Heck, it's 10:33 am and I'm still in my pajamas. You gotta love that.
