Some Random Facts About Me ...

It's Sunday night. I'm bored and I have to get up really early in the morning to begin my Team Tiara Half Marathon training. Since I may have some people actually following my blog that do not know me very well, here are some random facts about me:

  • I was born in Norfolk, VA on the naval base, but I've never visited there.
  • I lived in 5 states before I was in 6th grade.
  • I hate grits!
  • I cannot stand for my food to touch!! As a matter of fact, until Jeff and I lived together, I often ate out of separated plates. (And yes, I miss those plates!)
  • I did not eat vegetables until Jeff & I started on the South Beach Diet in July 2003.
  • I am a reality television junkie.
  • I only got in trouble one time in high school and that was for skipping school with Susie Griffith and Eric Hall. The school called my mother and that was the end of my trouble-making days.
  • I can roll my tongue up.
  • My favorite ice cream is Ben & Jerry's Chubby Hubby.
  • I was a complete tomboy and until college, I rarely wore a dress, skirt or high heels.
  • I hate shopping of any kind, even grocery shopping.
  • I bought my first condo when I was 22 and moved in one week before I graduated college.
  • My first job was at 15, working for a heating & air conditioning company inputting customer information in a database. (In 1985, a database was a novel idea and pretty cool).
  • My first car was a 1980 black Pontiac Firebird with white leather seats and a purple-tinted rear window. I probably looked like a female pimp.
  • I don't hold babies until they are at least 8 months old and most of them cry when they are around me. (I thought only dogs sensed fear)
  • My first pets were gerbils named Dick and Jane... Dick had babies ... and Jane ate them.
  • When I was young, my goal in life was to be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.

Ok, if you are still with me after all that useless information, you are either really bored or just as sick and twisted as I am.
